Our new for 2021 Bamboo Soap Decks were designed in our pursuit of a life promoting a sustainable mindset. These new decks are made from bamboo (which is actually a type of grass) for a much more eco friendly solution than traditional woods. We searched out the highest quality we could find while keeping the product sustainable and minimizing the impact on the earth and its resources. With less surface area the soap doesn't stick as much as with the cedar. When you receive this product, you will be holding a design of true love for the environment.
Why Bamboo?
Bamboo is a product that can be grown and harvested in 3 months without the aid of fertilizers and pesticides. Bamboo not only releases around 30% more oxygen than other plants, it also absorbs 5x more carbon dioxide than similar plants and it regenerates from its roots, minimizing labor and reinforcing soils to reduce erosion. And unlike the plastics we live with every day, will eventually biodegrade into the soil without any harmful effects.
